Begin Your Journey to Recovery

Most people who call us are not only worried about themselves — they are thinking about a parent, a partner, or a child whose lives have been pulled into the addiction too. We understand that, because recovery is rarely a solo undertaking. When you reach our admissions team, we listen to the whole picture, complete a confidential assessment, and verify your insurance, often the same day.

From there, we recommend the level of care that genuinely fits — and if NCC Rehab is not the right place, we will say so and help you find the one that is. Families are welcomed into the process from the very first call, because the people who love a patient are part of how that patient heals.

What to Bring

Packing for treatment does not need to add stress for you or your family. Here is what we recommend bringing to NCC Rehab:

  • Valid photo identification and your insurance card
  • A list of current medications, or the medications themselves in their original containers
  • Comfortable, casual clothing for 7 to 10 days, including layers for cool foothill mornings
  • Athletic shoes and clothing for nature walks, outdoor fitness, and the aquatic center
  • Toiletries that do not list alcohol as an ingredient
  • A small amount of cash for incidentals
  • Photos or small comfort items, including notes from family

Please leave at home: alcohol, drugs or paraphernalia, weapons, and valuables. Cell phone use is permitted during limited hours, and family visits are scheduled on weekends. Please note that NCC Rehab does not allow pets on the campus.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does treatment last?

It depends on what you or your loved one needs. Medical detox usually takes 3 to 7 days, residential treatment runs 30 to 90 days, and outpatient care spans 2 to 12 weeks. We will recommend a length based on the clinical assessment, and we will keep the family informed so no one is left guessing about the road ahead.

Is detox medically supervised?

Yes. Detox at NCC Rehab is conducted under 24/7 physician and nursing supervision, with medication-assisted treatment when appropriate. If you are worried about a family member going through withdrawal, this is exactly the safety that supervised detox provides — it is far safer than attempting it at home.

Can my family be involved in treatment?

Absolutely, and we encourage it. Addiction affects the whole family, so recovery should involve them too. We offer family programming and scheduled weekend visits, and we keep loved ones informed and supported throughout. Families consistently tell us that being included helped them heal alongside their person.

What substances do you treat?

We treat dependence on alcohol, opioids, heroin, prescription opioids and stimulants, marijuana, and kratom, among others. If you are unsure whether your situation — or your loved one's — fits, call us and we will talk it through honestly.

Do you treat co-occurring psychiatric conditions?

Yes. Our dual diagnosis program treats substance use alongside co-occurring conditions such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD in one integrated plan. Many families are relieved to learn both can be addressed together here, rather than being sent between separate providers.

How do we get started?

Call our admissions team at (661) 554-8945, any time of day. Whether you are the one seeking help or a family member making the first call on someone's behalf, we will guide you through the assessment and insurance verification with patience and confidentiality.
