Our Story

NCC Rehab facility

NCC Rehab exists because its founder lived the problem before building the solution. After years lost to addiction and a recovery that finally took hold, he kept returning to the same thought: the program he had needed — one that treated the whole person, not just the symptoms — did not exist near home. So he built it.

That conviction became a treatment center on Main St in Santa Clarita, designed around the things that had actually helped him heal: rigorous medical care, yes, but also movement, nutrition, creative expression, and the quiet of the outdoors. Nothing here is decorative. Every part of the program earned its place by mattering in a real recovery.

Today, NCC Rehab carries that lived understanding into every admission. Patients are met by people who know that recovery is not a straight line, and who built this place precisely so that no one in the Santa Clarita Valley would have to look as far for help as our founder once did.

Our Mission

Our mission is to deliver clinical excellence without losing the human being inside the diagnosis. We hold ourselves to the highest standards of evidence-based addiction medicine — and then go further, treating the body, mind, and daily life of every patient so that recovery is not just achieved but sustained. At NCC Rehab, world-class care and genuine compassion are not a trade-off; they are the same commitment.

Treatment Philosophy

We believe healing reaches the places that words cannot, which is why creative expression — music, art, and experiential therapy — sits at the center of our work, helping patients process pain and rediscover identity beyond addiction. We also treat the body as part of the mind: drawing on nutritional psychiatry, our chef-prepared meals and nutrition guidance help restore the brain chemistry that prolonged substance use disrupts.

And we meet people where they are. Our care follows a harm-reduction continuum that values every step toward safety and health, rather than demanding perfection on day one. Progress, not punishment, is what builds a recovery that lasts.

What Our Alumni Say

"What set NCC Rehab apart for me was that they treated my recovery like it belonged to me. The early morning walks in the foothills, the nutrition that actually made me feel human again, the art sessions I rolled my eyes at and then couldn't live without — it all added up to a version of me I hadn't seen in a decade. Two years sober, and still grateful."

Theresa V., Alumni (2023)

"I'd been to other programs that felt like factories. This was the opposite. The team knew my name, knew my story, and built a plan around the whole me — not just the drinking. When I struggled, they met me with patience instead of ultimatums. NCC Rehab gave me back a life worth protecting."

Andre P., Alumni, Santa Clarita (2022)
